2020 | WELL WE DIDN'T EXPECT THIS!
WHERE DO WE BEGIN?
Firstly a warm welcome to our very first blog post on our brand new blog and website. As all of us know it has been a very weird start to the year, and due to the circumstances we have had all of our April-July 2020 couples postpone so far. For us the season has usually kicked off by now and we are well and truly in wedding mode but the universe had different ideas for us all this year. We are working endlessly to help our couples that are having to postpone and will do our upmost to ensure we can support them during this time.
SO WHAT ARE WE DOING ABOUT IT?
Well we are using this time to our advantage to reflect, refresh and rebrand! Which has meant we have finally been able to get round to the total redesign of our brand and website, that we have been wanting to do for some time now. As you may have already noticed our logo has changed, we have redeveloped the diamond from our old logo to represent the three services we offer film only, photography only or our dual film and photography service, overlaid to represent the connection and integration of still and motion. The diamonds have also taken a new direction in regards to thickness to replicate our love for asymmetric art and design. We have changed the brand colour palette with the feature being a muted oxblood which is sophisticated yet fun and a symbolisation of ambition; a trait we strongly believe allows us to achieve our goals and continue to always go above and beyond for our clients.
Our website has been rethought making it as user friendly, each page designed to exhibit our favourite and most-loved work, our brochure request is a simple fill out form and you can even find out a bit more about us on the home page. All these improvements are to ensure you get the best service possible from start to finish.
Aside of our rebrand we have been using this time to write blog posts, update and plan our social media, explore new equipment and editing methods, take some time for ourselves and not forgetting home schooling the kids which is something we never thought we would have to do. Speaking of kids if you do happen to speak to us on the phone whilst we are in still in lockdown you may hear them in the background or more than likely interrupting the call asking for another treat even though their other parent is sitting right next to them…they tend to always want the parent who is on that all important phone call 😊
We are certainly finding it weird having so much time on our hands and not being surrounded by people having fun and celebrating but we look forward to getting back to these wonderful times as soon as we can.
