ANNA + CHRIS // GAYNES PARK

This wonderful couple have know each other for some time. They actually met when Anna was 11 and Chris was 13 at a Barmitzvah. Very cutely they spent 4 months after that first meeting writing each other love letters (which of course Chris still has)!! At the time Chris had a very big question for Anna which he asked whilst perfuming a routine on roller-skates to Boyzone – as if this wasn’t impressive enough the question was asking Anna to be his girlfriend, and that right there is where this romance started.

Unfortunately they lost touch after those few months, and bumped into each other again 15 years later at a local pub in Southend.  It turned out they lived a few roads apart and got the same train to work most days! That is what I like to call meant to be!

Chris proposed on a Californian road trip in September 2015.  Anna described this moment to me…”We were staying in a hotel called Post Ranch Inn on Big Sur, which is probably the most amazing place we have ever stayed, and he proposed over a glass of champagne on the balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  It was amazing!!”

Fortunately for Chris, Anna is well known for planning. So amazingly they had Gaynes Park booked before we even got back from California!!! “It ticked all the boxes for us – beautiful grounds but not too formal – and amazing food (which is a big thing for us!!)  It’s basically a blank canvas and you can make it exactly how you want.”

They opted for no theme. However their wedding day motto was that “the most important things are food, booze and music – and everything else will just fall into place – and it did!” They wanted to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere – with a bit of a pretty, English country garden feel and that is exactly what they got. It was a stunning day!!

I always ask our couple what their favourite part of the day was. I just loved Anna’s response…”How do you choose?!  I loved walking down the aisle – and I loved how personal our ceremony was (Chris’s cousin is a minister and led the ceremony).  The speeches were great, the meal was amazing!”

So as you can see it was not just a beautiful day but also a perfect day to film and edit giving these guys memories they will treasure forever.

We wish you all the best guys and again a massive congrats!

Love the UV team xxx
